Business Information: Company name, address, phone number, and other business details you provide in your settings.

Financial Data: Transactions, invoices, bills, receipts, bank account connections (via Plaid), and related financial records you enter or sync.

Payment Information: Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers — Stripe handles all payment card data securely.

Usage Data: We may collect information about how you interact with our platform to improve the service.

We use your information solely to:

• Provide and maintain the trakbooks platform
• Process your financial transactions and generate reports
• Connect to your bank accounts securely via Plaid
• Process subscription payments via Stripe
• Send important service-related communications (invoices, reminders, account updates)
• Improve and develop new features

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or financial information to third parties.

We take the security of your financial data seriously:

• All data is transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted in transit)
• Row-level security ensures each user can only access their own data
• Bank connections are handled by Plaid, a certified and regulated financial data provider — we never see your bank login credentials
• Payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified provider
• Access to backend systems is restricted and authenticated

We integrate with the following trusted third-party services:

• Plaid — For secure bank account connections and transaction syncing. Subject to Plaid's Privacy Policy.
• Stripe — For subscription payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data will be retained for 90 days in case you wish to reactivate. After that period, your data may be permanently deleted. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us.

You have the right to:

• Access and download your financial data at any time
• Update or correct your personal information
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Disconnect bank accounts at any time

trakbooks is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on the platform or via email.
